Ingredients
2.5 pounds top sirloin steak
½ small onion sliced
1 ½ cup thinly sliced green cabbage
1 ½ cup thinly sliced purple cabbage
1 cup sliced jicama
2 sliced jalapenos
Dressing Ingredients
½ small onion sliced
1 Tablespoon chili pepper flakes
2 teaspoons spicy brown mustard
¼ cup avocado oil
1 Tablespoon apple cider vinegar
2 teaspoons coconut aminos, tamari, or low-sodium soy sauce
2 teaspoons liquid monk fruit sweetener
1 Tablespoon Everything But the Bagel seasoning or favorite pepper blend
¼ cup chicken broth
Instructions
Season the steak with salt and pepper and pan fry or grill. Combine the cabbages, onion, jicama and jalapeno in a large mixing bowl. In a separate bowl or wide mouth jar, combine dressing ingredients and blend into a puree. Pour dressing over cabbage mixture. Toss to combine. Slice meat and serve on top of slaw.
